The Olive Place

Passionate about olives since forever, Margie & Ross wanted to plant trees and produce world class Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

They planted four groves over a three year period, starting in 2004, experimenting with ten different cultivars to find which would produce the best quality and flavour.

After the groves were established, the next step was building a top-notch processing and bottling facility. Meanwhile, they continued to develop the property into a stunning native plant sanctuary which reflects on their commitment to the time-honoured production of the best quality, natural extra virgin olive oil.

The Olive Place has built a reputation for international standard processing and make oil from the fruit of groves all around the North Island.

Every level of the production of our oils, from the earth to the table, holds the environment in high regard. We witness the earth giving back, and the outcome is a range of unfiltered, unadulterated and naturally delicious extra virgin olive oils.
